Terms of sale and use
These terms apply when you buy or download practice papers from karimenen.com, or use the site. Buying a paper means you accept them. They are written to be read, so if anything is unclear, email hello@karimenen.com before you order.

Delivery
Your papers are emailed from hello@karimenen.com. If nothing arrives within an hour, check your spam or promotions folder, then email us from the address you paid with and we will resend the files, by links if attachments are being rejected. Please keep the email: download links stop working 30 days after purchase, and after that we resend on request.
Refunds
Because the papers are digital files delivered immediately, an order cannot be cancelled once the delivery email has been sent. If the files do not arrive, will not open, or are not what you ordered, tell us within 30 days of purchase and we will resend them or refund the payment in full to the card used. We refund at our discretion in other cases; just ask.
Your licence to use the papers
When you buy a paper you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for your own study. You may print it and keep copies on your own devices. You may not share, sell, lend, upload, post, or otherwise distribute the files or their contents, remove the copyright notices, or use them to build another product or service. The questions, explanations and glossary are original works owned by Karimen EN and protected by copyright. Groups, schools and businesses that want to use the papers with students should email us for a licence.
The free paper
Requesting Paper 07 asks us to send two emails to the address you enter: the paper straight away, and one follow-up about four days later about the paid papers. The first email has a link that cancels the follow-up. Enter only an address you own. We do not add you to any list and send nothing further.
What the papers are, and are not
- They are independent practice material written to match the format, topics and phrasing style of the official tests. They are not official exam questions, and nothing is reproduced from an exam paper.
- Karimen EN is not affiliated with the National Police Agency, any prefectural police, licence centre or driving school.
- Test rules, fees, languages and formats are set by each prefecture and change with little notice. We check our pages against official sources and date each one, but you must confirm the current requirements with your own licence centre.
- Studying with the papers does not guarantee that you will pass.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected with the papers or the site is limited to the amount you paid us for the order concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Japanese consumer law.
Using the site
Do not use automated tools to submit the free-paper form or to place orders for other people without their clear consent, and do not attempt to interfere with the site. The machine-readable information at /llms.txt and /openapi.json is provided for legitimate use on the same terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Japan. Disputes go to the courts of Japan, without prejudice to any protection you have as a consumer in your own country.
Changes
We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new effective date. Orders are governed by the terms in force when they were placed.
